Here at Slindon Forge we like to lay on something a bit special to mark special dates – and wherever possible that means extra things on the café menu and treats in the shop as well.
In addition, Slindon is a lively place with lots of things going on all the time – so we’ve included below some of the other public events you might like to come along to. (Shown in italics). Do drop in an see us if you are attending any other events in Slindon.
Here are the highlights for the coming few months.
Easter – April 14 – 17, 2017
In the shop we’ll have a range of locally made chocolate items as well as lots of delicious food for this special celebratory weekend, including our own Forge Simnel cake.
In the cafe Carol will undoubtedly do something special in the cup cake line as well, and Jengers Bakery in Billingshurst are baking Hot Cross Buns for us.
But there’s more. Easter is busy time in Slindon with the lambing at Gaston Farm in full swing – and in collaboration with St Mary’s Church the National Trust will be running their very popular and fun Easter Egg Hunt. More details when we receive them. The hunt will start from The Forge, but please contact the National Trust direct for more details. 01243 814730.
